Q: Can I use my IAAD account to submit an abstract for a meeting?
Answer
No, you need to create an abstract account in the submission site, whether you are an IAAD member or not.
Q: I don't have a PayPal account, can I still pay my dues?
Answer
Yes, you do not need to create a PayPal account to become a member. While we prefer PayPal, you can use our new system to pay directly on IAAD site using any major card without PayPal.
Q: What is my username and password on IAAD website?
Answer
You may have already applied to become a member by sending email to the secretary or filling out the paper forms. However, all IAAD members are requested to kindly fill out the online registration form on this website. In other words, even if your name is listed in the Excel file as a founding member, you still need to register with all your information to receive a username and password.

3- Click on the PayPal icon next to the payment option of your choice (1 or 2), you will be automatically directed to PayPal or have the option of paying without using PayPal.
4- Fill out your credit card information and click Pay button.
5- Your payment will be processed and you will receive confirmation emails immediately.
Q: What credit cards are accepted to pay membership dues?
Answer
IAAD accepts most major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc. You can use our new system to pay using any major card without PayPal.
Q: Is PayPal a safe way to pay online?
Answer
PayPal is one of the safest methods of payment currently available worldwide. It is expensive for us; however, we selected it since it is certainly safer than direct credit card transactions because your financial information is NOT shared with the other party, so the chance of fraud is virtually non-existent.
Q: What is student membership?
Answer
Students can join IAAD at the discounted rate of 50 CHF per year, upon providing enrollment certificate.
